Barry Kemp will be presenting a short lecture on Amarna at a workshop entitled 'Sickness, Hunger, War and Religion - from the Perspectives of Archaeology, History and Anthropology' at Ludwig-Maximilians University over 4-5 March.

The Journal of Egyptian Archaeology for 2010 - just out - includes a 30-page report on last year's fieldwork at Amarna, which saw major excavations at the South Tombs Cemetery and the final field season of the Panehesy Church Project.
