Geophysics Field School underway
The inaugural Amarna Geophysics Field School, jointly run by UCLA and the University of Arkansas, has just begun. A group of students are spending six weeks at Amarna learning about ground-based remote sensing technologies, and will apply these especially to the North City, where much of the ancient ground plan is yet to be retrieved.
